Oh yes, in Italy we have extraordinary food.
In the past we had great fun with Francesco to taste and make our guests taste them, especially if foreigners (Dutch in this case). And they showed us all their … Italian passion.
We hope to repeat soon similar experiences, both live and online (when they’ll find a way to teleport food)
And, during the wait for this science fiction invention, you can take advantage of our tasting of 18 and 19 September in Porto Recanati,  ateBookCamp of our friend Antonio Tombolini.

The search for truffles is a hobby which evokes days immersed in nature and the magic of the forest. It brings back memories of those special moments of tranquillity and brings back memories of moments of joy that one enjoys intensely when they find this precious object.

The search for truffles is the story of man and his dog. In fact, when you have a dog and then you train him to look for truffles, between man and dog a very strong bond is established. This bond is strong like the …

The main objective of Agrycult is to build a net of small agricultural businesses that are not only set up on line but also set up face to face, building our small net creates a net of products which is distributed and sold between farmers. (Does this make sense to you? Have I understood the main idea of the sentence?)

We simply want to return to discovering products from the earth, those real products “We believe that rediscovering products from the earth is the most revolutionary experience that can happen to …

We are still talking about names…this time though we have invented the story ourselves. Even if we are always talking about popular wisdom this story rings decisively more matter of fact. This story is about how the name of a wine is born.
The drunken wife is the name that we wanted to give to our Chiaretto, and it is a name that was born partly as a joke and partly pride in response to many circumstances ( and maybe today not as often as before)- to hear one speak about …

Hello, I am Carla Latini. Since 1990 in Osimo, in Marche and Umbria, my husband Carlo and I sow and harvest the varieties of wheat and spelt we use to make our lines of pasta.
In 1992, the recovery of the famous historic wheat kind Senatore Cappelli enabled us to produce the first pasta “in purezza” (purity) in the world (that’s how we called it); spaghetti and spaghettini made with only the Senatore Cappelli wheat. High spikes from large black mustaches and an intense, almost spicy, flavour. Then we started taking care of the kind of hard wheat Taganrog. …

The Minister of Agriculture Luca Zaia and Roberto Masi, CEO McDonald’s Italia enjoy (apparently) their McItaly

In late January, McDonald’s Italy introduced in its menu the McItaly, the new sandwich “invented” (as he himself likes to say) by the Italian minister of Agriculture Luca Zaia.

This marriage between the made-in-Italy and McDonald’s, as enthusiastically claimed by Zaia, will bring a bright future for the Italian farmers, who are called to participate in the “good” globalization “good” thanks to the (very) globalized McDonald’s.

The case hit the headlines when Matthew Fort, restaurant critic …

This is more or less what I’m telling when I introduce myself.

So, my little farm is in Abruzzo and thus it produces Trebbiano and Montepulciano wines.

I do not pick the Trebbiano grapes, no matter what (including the snow), until they reach at least 20° of sugar. Therefore sometimes it is a little overripe (not passito, but just a little ahead with aging).

The vinification changes depending if I decide (or better, if the grapes are up to) to do the maceration (the Lama Bianca wine) or not, but I do not …

An old farm. A true one!
It’s the slogan of Parco dei Buoi farm.
We are in the countryside of Larino in Molise and now, we also cultivate the parcel 2.0 of ANP (Agrycultural Net Particel). Agricultural plots Network).
I am Francesco Travaglini, born 1970, I studied economics, not a bad goalkeeper in my youth, co-founder along with Michael Vitale of Agrycult.com but above all, a farmer from birth.
In Parco dei buoi we’ve got a lot of things to do:

we breed sheep and make cheese and ricotta from their milk and get lambs as well.
we grow 1000 olive …

Welcome!
I am Michele Vitale, co-founder (together with my friend Francesco Travaglini) of Agrycult.
In the last months we worked hard, day and night (but mostly night and with a distinct predilection for holidays ) to build the community of Agrycult, where our agricultural start-up will stem from.
In order to do that, we carved out time from our works (I am a lawyer) and from our beloved (very tolerant these days, isn’t it, Simona?).
But we didn’t find hard at all doing this work, done in every possible moment, sunday, by night, …

Here we go, we’ve just occupied the parcel 2.0 of the agricultural part of the net!
We live and work in this farmland, we have here our home, in the first farming village of the net.
Here you can breathe clean, uncontaminated, air.
It is ideal for walking between rows of vines and centuries-old olive trees, feeling the smell of fresh grass, enjoying the sunrises and sunsets over rice paddies (look the special light during the interview with Carlo), wheat fields and pastures, feeling fragrances of ricotta and cheese, must and fresh …
