Agryculturalists & Agriculturalists
Post by Francesco Travaglini
“South, unleashing the agrienergy” …. “The most suitable crops seem to be cane, thistle, panic (grass) and sorghum sugar” … ”The corn-powered stove beats the fireplace with an efficiency of over 80% “… “A quarter of U.S. grain feed cars, not people” … “The figures for 2009 show that the grain grown to produce fuel in 2009 would have been enough to feed 330 million people for one year” …
Those are some of the headlines and articles that for some time now we are reading more and more specialized agriculture and trade journals.
Then the rest of the arguments are: milk quotas, prosecco, food frauds, accidents at work, and of course the new slavery of the non-EC immigrants working in agriculture.
All of this is the mirror of a paradox, over which it is worth thinking for, after all, Italy’s own benefit.
In agrycult.com the debate is open so that the choices of each and everyone, farmers and consumers, can be as aware as possible.
